After 20 years in legal administration and conveyancing, Simone pursued a Bachelor of Laws through the University of Adelaide. Upon graduation, Simone secured a position with a large ‘defendant-side’ insurance firm. Following a brief exposure in that role to the South Australian Employment Tribunal, she knew her passion lay with assisting workers navigate the Return to Work system.  Her people focussed personality drives her to always put her client’s interests first, ensuring they receive what they are entitled to.

Simone also has a special interest in Surrogacy law after carrying a child as a gestational surrogate in 2018 and again in 2021.

She is heavily involved with the Surrogacy community in South Australia. Simone prides herself on having a unique insight into Surrogacy and enjoys providing a mentor program for both surrogates and intended parents. Simone has been involved in the recent law reforms, written an information pack for Intended Parents and Surrogates and advocates for teams to ensure various public and private providers understand the complexities of a surrogacy relationship and the needs of all parties.
